The Los Angeles Fine Art Show will feature a rich blend of premier Historic and Contemporary Art. Unique in the art fair world, dealers from around the globe will converge at the Los Angeles Convention Center to share their exceptional variety of fine and decorative art spanning all styles and centuries with serious collectors, interior designers, and museum curators.
Twenty years ago, the Los Angeles Fine Art Show was created as a regional show, reflecting the city’s evolving nature. The Los Angeles Fine Art Show continues that tradition offering an extraordinary range of genres from 18th Century European Paintings to Contemporary Realism, from California Plein Air to American Regionalism. This year, The Los Angeles Fine Art Show is dedicated solely to historic and contemporary art. By dividing the LA Art Show into two distinct fairs, we have been able to focus gallery selection, programming, and special exhibitions to appeal to a targeted collector base. The Los Angeles Fine Art Show has presented varied yet, complimentary genres, and celebrated artists who continue to work in respected regional styles. The exhibiting galleries have been curated to meet the tastes of collectors and enthusiasts with not only historic, but also contemporary artwork of highly esteemed exhibitors from each category.
“Collectors who are drawn to ‘classic art’ are not simply interested in works from a particular time period. They often appreciate representational art from many periods. We’ve crafted the Los Angeles Fine Art Show to showcase galleries and works that these collectors will find appealing. They’ll be able to view the art they are looking for, whether it’s French Academic, American Regionalism, or Contemporary Realism,” states Kim Martindale, show producer and partner owner. While the art fair world is expanding at a furious rate, this popular segment is vastly underrepresented.
